"Switchbacks game"

Stayed here while attending a switchbacks game. Easy walk to the stadium. Easy parking. Had no issues. Had an easy QR code to be able to tip housekeeping by name which I thought was awesome and should be adopted elsewhere

We had a few issues with our stay (listed below), however the service from the hotel staff, the restaurant staff and the bartenders at Ryze (the rooftop bar) was all so fantastic and amazing that I can't help but give a 5-star review. PROS: helpfulness, friendliness, and responsiveness of the hotel, restaurant, and rooftop bar staff. Truly spectacular service! The room was clean and welcoming. The beds were really comfortable, and I loved that there were 2 types of pillows to choose from. the Ryze rooftop bar had truly special cocktails and a fun and friendly bar staff. ISSUES: Easter brunch was incredibly pared down due to staff shortage. However, we were warned about this ahead of time and still chose to eat there - so that's on us. There were a few small issues with the room (such as a bathtub drain stopper that didn't stay open throughout the whole shower). We told the manager on duty about these few issues when we were leaving. He was super appreciative and wrote them down, thanking us for taking the time to let him know so that he could make sure they were fixed for the next guest. OVERALL: We will stay here again on our next trip to Colorado Springs.

The HGI was conveniently located downtown. Was easy to get to just off the highway. The rooftop bar was a nice touch with views of the city and pike's.
