Staff were helpful but, in some cases, undertrained for customer focus e.g. standing at the bar whilst three staff continued their conversation

Bathroom door did not close, noisy bathroom fan that was 'on' for over 20mins (not great in the middle of the night). TV not connected to wifi: promptly fixed but why was it not checked in advance of the room being occupied? The 'inclusive' breakfast has silly extra charges for some coffees and a £2 charge to have black pudding on a 'full' english. The charges add nothing to revenue but show the lack of customer view of the place

The pub is wonderful with a warm welcome and excellent food. Beautiful garden in a pretty village near the South Downs Way. Our room interior was spotless with a good shower and nice amenities.

The accommodation is in tiny individual units out the back all facing each other. There is no privacy so we kept the curtains closed making the room very dark. It’s also a sun trap and was boiling hot when we arrived and the A/C is loud. The outdoor garden seat was filthy. £250/n was not good value for the accommodation, although the pub part is lovely.

A lovely pub with a beautiful garden that offers a small number of custom built lodges that are extremely comfortable with air conditioning that was extremely welcome as it was 30 degrees on the day of our stay. We had a delicious pizza cooked in the pizza oven in the garden that was as good as anything I've eaten in Italy. The breakfast was also superb with top quality ingredients nicely presented.

Location was beautiful, staff were so polite and friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, accommodation was beyond what I expected; had everything we needed and more, beautifully done and so comfortable. The gardens were lovely. Can’t fault it at all. We will be back!

I didn’t like that I was only staying for one night! We will return!

Perfect little bolthole in an exceptionally beautiful village. Staff are great and super friendly.

Quiet room, pleasant garden, good food, very pleasant staff. Nice walks in the area, like the National trust Up Park. Reasonable price.

The attention to detail is what sells this. There are some small touches that go a long way - treats, coffee station, magazine and newspaper app. The room has everything you could possibly want and breakfasts was amazing value. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this stay.
