Le confort et la propreté étaient assez décevants pour un 4 étoiles. La douche est à l’extérieur.

The room was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the bath on our balcony. The hotel also had nice bath products and we had half board, the portions were extremely generous. Nice onsen bath as well.

Nothing important. Would have only preferred an extra pillow per person. Very nice stay otherwise.

The staff was very helpful and good value for the money

While its traditional it do feelk like old and not vintage. The traditional meals can be overwhelming for foreigners and there isn't much of a choice also very long meals.

This ryokan is steps away from Gora station and tucked away in a lovely garden, also not far from Gora Park. Which is amazing to visit! We loved the different onsens, the socks, yukatas and slippers. The kaiseki breakfast was also excellent! What an amazing experience! They were very kind and did a special kaiseki for my sister who has a dairy and gluten allergy.

Make sure you go to the one by the station. There is a sister property by the same name in a different location of Gora. We didn’t realize there were two so went to the wrong one by mistake. It also looks very nice but is farther away from the station.
