Harrah’s Lake Tahoe – A Caesars Rewards Destination

First of all, Expedia over sold the king rooms and I was not given the king room I booked. When we got in our queen room the smoke detector was beeping every minute and the safe was not working. I was not happy and had to request a different room.

Check in the worst experience in our travels. We waited from approx 10 AM to 2PM for our room. We were first told the the room was ready but needed to pay $25. If we came back at 1PM, we could go up to rest, but the room needed inspection. So we waited and waited util 2PM and with me complaining, we were allowed up.

The outdoor self-parking was very confusing. The desk said I could use my room key to exit the parking lot, but this did not work. Also, it was very hard to read the display on the ticket machine. Very frustrating.

Staff at check in was very unfriendly. Also the same can be said for when I checked out. This property is very dated. Old furniture, dated room, needs a complete make over. Also, they charged $20 for parking. I was shocked. I don't believe this was mentioned in the description of the property. Won't stay here again. Very dissatisfied.

The rooms were spacious but worn… it needs updating. We were not told that housekeeping was not everyday… the towels are thin The whole facility is very dated… the Casino was not appealing. Not many restaurants were not open around 8pm Choices very limiting

This hotel is simply past its prime and needs major renovations. Rooms not very clean, and ergonomically outdated. Nice staff. No real complaints since you get what you pay for.
