Refrigerator wouldn’t get cold.

We did not have breakfast, but the bar was wonderful late night and even was able to get fries!

Very clean and our room exceeded expectations. We had an amazing view and there were so many windows! The breakfast was actually really good as well and the staff was very welcoming and helpful!

Friendly staff, very clean room. Short walk to Van Andel arena.

The only thing I didn't like was paying $50 to park in their garage.

The absolute worst wifi I’ve ever had at a hotel. If you come here for business don’t bother because you won’t be able to get any work done while in your room

My sister and I visited GR and stayed in a room with 2-queen beds (plus the sofa bed) and (based on comments from other reviewers) specifically requested a City View. I will definitely stay at the hotel again. The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious with the sofa bed giving us a place to hang out without sitting on our beds. The City View was great and we had no issues at all with noise (as others reported) but we were there mid week. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.

Great hotel! In my career I spend about 75 to 100 nights a year in hotels around the country and world. Many times the “luxury” brands in major cities (Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, etc) often let me down. On their facade they appear nice but often they are just high priced old hotels with small rooms, poorly maintained, with dated furniture and layouts from the 1970’s and 80’s. However, this hotel is close to perfect; quiet, comfortable, smartly designed, clean, new, great location, etc. It basically checks all of the boxes. It is considered a “mid-tier” hotel on the Trip Advisor website; but I argue it should be rated higher. If you want a comfortable and affordable hotel while in Grand Rapids I highly recommend this hotel.
