"Spotlessly clean traditional hotel"

Good traditional hotel keeping up high standards of hospitality. Great choice at breakfast with full waitress service. Large room with comfy beds and plenty of storage. Spotlessly clean everywhere! Private Car parking (one of the main reasons we chose the hotel) Full length mirror (essential) Great extras touches i.e dressing gown and slippers plus a Magnifying hand mirror! About 15 - 20 minutes downhill walk into town (wrap up well if its cold/windy!) but plenty of taxis to get back up. £5 ish in the day. Not far from a stop for the tour bus thats hop on and off. Max price £10pp for 24 hour ticket.

Curtain in bathroom! blinds would be much better especially as the window is right next to the toilet. Evening meal was too late (earliest time is 7pm) we would have eaten there more often if it had been earlier! The Bar was very quiet, with no real atmosphere to encourage you to drink there. Maybe its busier later in the season

Lovely bedroom/bathroom, lots of little extras. Breakfast and staff exceptional. Private car parking., everything very clean, would highly recommend

Safe and large private car park. All meals were of excellent choice and quality, with impeccable Table Service. Room facilities were excellent. Comfortable Lounge. Pleasant walk into centre of Whitby.
