Minor repairs needs to be fixed

The rooms were dirty. The bathroom floor was black. There were spider webs on nightstand next to the bed. You could see were they ripped up carpet and left pieces of carpet on floor. Refrigerator did not keep drinks cold. Did not know there were any room fees until we checked in.

Room was a bit dated, but very clean. Staff was helpful and breakfast had adequate choices. Overall a good stay with a well priced room.

Hotel appears old and worn. Staff extremely friendly and informative. Parking easy air-conditioning worked well.

I am a Gold Elite, I would like email survey for my stay. I had several problems, the desk clerk came to my room and said. Yes , this is terrible, and even took pictures. It was 10 pm , and was NOT asked if we could move. I was told the GM would call and make adjustment. When I checked out, gave the info again, was told they would call me. Never called, I called 2 days later, was told they had a tuff day. I mentioned they was going to call me, and make adjustment, she stated " oh she ask you to move and you she NO. This is NOT true, and told her that. Then she said , she would call me. It's been 2 more days and NO call. Desk clerk took pictures of - NO shower curtain, piss on toilet and floor, and hole in bath towels.

Convenient to highway

Construction during the days in the hotel meant the hallway door was open to the outside Alabama heat in the summer.

3 nights, No phone in the room, sink did not drain,no housekeeping service. When service finally did happen, left dirty cups on table, did not replace coffee or used cups. Desk help on their cell phones every time we went to the front desk. Had speak to them to get them to pay attention. This a MARRIOTT, not a Roadway.

Nice place while visiting my daughter at university of Alabama. Will definitely stay there again.
