There’s nothing we’ve liked about the property.

1,5 days before our arrival we’ve received a message that the property we’ve booked is not available. The company offered us another property which looked okayish on the photos. It was horrible and nothing like we’ve booked ahead of our stay. I wouldn’t suggest to trust these scammers.

The absolute worst place to stay. It was super loud and it feels like sleeping in streets. Asked the hosts to change my room but they asked me to contact booking, so i had to sleep there for two more days :) more like lay in bed because there is no way you can sleep there. There is also a glass bin in 10 meters so people throwing glass bottles in the pin will wake you up even if you fall asleep. There is mold and water damage, don’t think it’s safe to stay there. Pool is super dirty and the very nice outside bed is cut. Only one towel was clean, other ones had big stains on them. One of the pillowcases was dirty aswell. Also found somebodies dirty pants from my room :)

easy check in with lock box, good instructions sent in good time. We enjoyed the pool. It is unheated but positioned to get a good amount of sun so was cool but not freezing when we stayed in September. The shared kitchen was a welcome bonus. We didn't actually cook so not sure how well provisioned it is, but we were able to make coffee and sandwiches and store things in the fridge which was helpful.

The only negative i can think of was the folding wardrobe door was difficult and noisy to open/close, would be better for it just to be removed! But really that's a very minor point. Everything else was great. Steep narrow steps into the room (once you get through the room door from the main stairwell) could be tricky for those with limited mobility.

We liked the character of the place with lovely high ceilings and period features.

The pool

Did not get any message on how to get the keys. Finally I found a phone number and the guy could help me via the phone

The room was beautiful and location was excellent.

We couldn't get in for a few hours as electricity was off and it's an electronic code to get in. That was rectified pretty quickly. However, our last night we woke up to rain pouring into our room and our cases were completely soaked. We lay down towels etc, but didn't do much good. As the electricity went off again, going downstairs to investigate, the hallway was completely flooded, with water coming through the light fitting like a tap. The fuseboard was also completely soaked, so didn't want to try touching it. It clearly needs money spent, and I feel sorry for the people who were there after us, as their rooms were flooded too.

The shower head was bad

Very spacious and comfortable room. The shared kitchen has everything for a short stay. Beautiful garden and view.

The only bad thing it that we didn't stay enough time to enjoy the pool.
