Villa Dubois Guest House

Loved staying at Villa Dubois Guest House. The place was cozy, clean, and really well located. The host was helpful and made check-in easy. Definitely would stay again!

Villa Dubois Guest House was a wonderful place to stay! The property was spotless, the neighborhood was peaceful and safe, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality provided. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained — I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to others.

I liked the layout of the property. The location wasn’t bad at all very quiet.

I didn’t like how we had to share one 3bd 1ba apartment with strangers. You basically are paying for one to sleep in & you have to share 1 bathroom with 5 strangers. I felt unsafe/uncomfortable because we didn’t know it was a shared space & disgusted off the fact 5 people have to share one bathroom.

Not much, nothing special.

They try to bully you and won’t give your security deposit back until you write a positive review. Definitely won’t get it back if you write a negative or truthful review. They also charge more and false advertise a deluxe queen with a bathtub in the room which is BS. Just a bed and a shared bathroom. Stay away from these dishonest people.

Close to bus stops and grocery store. Area was quiet and safe. Overall great location to stay at!

I stayed at this property from July 24–25, 2025. Upon arrival, I found the place unclean and voiced my concerns to management. I left after my one-night stay, and I was told my deposit would be returned within a week. Three weeks later, I still have not received my deposit. When I started asking why the refund was delayed — and declined to write the positive review they requested before processing my refund — they suddenly claimed there were damages, something that was never mentioned during or immediately after my stay. This claim only appeared after I refused to give them a favorable review. This experience left me feeling scammed and mistreated. The withholding of my deposit under false pretenses and the attempt to pressure me into posting a positive review before returning my money is completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here to think twice. This is definitely a scam!! I’m from Chicago and have never experienced anything like this .their staff is also very very rude and will lie upon request .

No information about the house charging extra 300 dollars trought paypal, on arrival. We tought this was a scam and a lot of online information say they are scammers.

Very convenient for a short term stay with private area and clean shared spaces the parking is very convenient as well
