Location to NRG stadium within walking distance

Out of date, needs remodeling, price was inflated due to nearby event, price gouging due to demand.

They charged me to park at the hotel

All the staff was extremely helpful & nice! The rooms were very beautiful,, clean & close to everything

Proximity to NRG Stadium

Needs work, outdated, older fixtures, bathroom not meant for taller people. A/C ran cold and then hot, beds were lumpy and like they have been there for awhile. To have a hotel this close to NRG and running $300+ a night to update and upgrade the facilities should be nothing. It just goes to show the money is spent elsewhere. Mold and mildew should not be the first thing you smell walking in the lobby or in your room. Carpet!!! We’re in 2026 and far more advance in decor than this. We met a gentleman on the elevator( when it actually worked) who stated that the hotel has been the same since he was 9! 9!!! And he was an older gentleman in his 50’s. This is just a poor representation of the Wyndham brand.

Price, water pressure & deteriorating

My Fiancé and I stayed here from 03/15/2026 - 03/17/2026, long story short—it wasn’t a great experience. We booked directly through Wyndham’s website, hoping to use points we got from my company holiday party for one of the nights. However, the system wouldn’t allow us to split the reservation between points and payment. Instead, we received a message instructing us to address it at check-in. The confirmation email also directed us to call ahead to reserve parking. When I called, I was placed on hold for about 10 minutes before being disconnected. When my Fiancé called back, the staff member was rude and seemed unfamiliar with the parking reservation process, though they did confirm there would be a charge—which was fine. Upon arrival, the check-in experience was particularly frustrating. The front desk associate was very dismissive and made no effort to help us use our points, instead suggesting we likely hadn’t booked through the official website. She didn’t attempt to verify anything or seek assistance from anyone else. While this was going on, my Fiancé stepped away briefly to move his truck forward to allow other guests to pull up. During that time, I asked for the total so I could go ahead and pay if using points wasn’t an option. She insisted we wait for my Fiancé, and when I explained that I would be covering the cost, she seemed surprised and repeatedly questioned if I was sure. She also basically refused to provide the total until he returned, which felt unnecessary and honestly a very disrespectful. As for the room, it was acceptable but had a noticeable stale smell, almost as if it hadn’t been used in a while. We also thought we heard some kind of noise in the walls during the night, which didn’t make for the most comfortable stay. Overall, it just wasn’t a great experience, especially from a service standpoint.They also place separate holds on your card—one for parking and another for the room, which includes a $100 incidental fee. However, they don’t communicate that the final bill won’t be itemized or separated in the same way as those holds.

A mini fridge and hair dryer were not in the room, when asked, we were told it is not an offered services despite being listed in the booking description. The hotel maintenance is not well kept and repairs do not look professional. One elevator is out of service and the other is absolutely terrifying and shakes/hits the wall on the way down. The air conditioner in the room did not seem clean and we ended up sick. The toilet broke during the stay and while they did send someone right up, he was struggling to fix it because they placed the toilet under the counter top. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. There as scrambled eggs, sausage links and warm apple juice. That was it. Nothing else.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, bar downstairs, free wifi.

1. Clocks in the room showed the wrong time. 2. I had asked at the lobby if they have any toothbrushes, and was told that they would bring one to my room. After waiting a few hours I went downstairs again and was then told that no toothbrushes were available for purchase. 3. No free breakfast is outrageous. 2. $40/night for parking is likewise outrageous.
