Motel 6 - Dayton, OH

Great quality for the cost, very close to interstate, food and shopping

Property was pet friendly and very quite. Very clean, comfortable bed, and the easy access to the interstate.

Shower was nice and room was ok. Sink leaked very badly. Police were called to the property for fighting/arguing and woke us up at midnight. Staff and the owner(s) were pleasant to deal with but property needs work.

The entire property was a hole in the wall. Room was supppsed to have microwave but didnt,when we asked for one the staff was irritated and asked if we really needed one. There was no contnental breakfast as advertised,not even coffee,in lobby or cofee maker in room. I had to call staff twice to get tv wotking properly. Motel 6 NEVER AGAIN!

Ok for the money.

Once i was checked in there was noone availible to help with any issues. When i went to desk noone was around. There was hairs on tub and sink, tv wouldn't come on. No shampoo in bathroom.

I gave this Motel 6 a try because of the motel that was previously in this location. The front desk was friendly and there were signs stating that the motel was under renovation. The room was dirty and very uncomfortable. All the amenities were old and stained. Maybe they will get things together but as of right now this Motel 6 is a no go.

Kind of run down and dated. Could barely turn around in the bathroom it was so small.

The lobby staff was extremely friendly and I decided to stay the full night at this Motel 6 just for that reason. But the actual motel was far from what I expected and I badly wanted to leave. First impressions: not easily accessible with a large truck due to an awkward location. The general outer appearance doesn’t match the pictures on the Expedia listing at all. We thought we’d arrived at the wrong place. Shouldn’t be listed as “recommended,” in my opinion. It was dilapidated and grungy. And while the room resembled the photo, I was so disappointed by the lack of quality and cleanliness up close, and the smell. There was a No Smoking sign on my door but the inside reeked of cigarettes, with burns on the bed cover. Sheets seemed clean enough, but the place was so shabby in general that it was impossible to get truly comfortable after a long drive, given how dirty everything was, from the carpet to the bathroom. I didn’t want to unpack any of my stuff or use the shower. Also had a pretty poor night’s sleep due to an uncomfortable mattress and highway noise.
