Motel 6 - Dayton, OH

Within the price range it seems to be the best deal in the area. room keeping did a phenomenal job of keeping their rooms clean. Could do a little better as far as the exterior of the property. For the most part they were friendly and professional I understand the hotel staff has a very difficult job. It would be a hard business to run. As a whole it is a very nice area an area that I know well. Patrolled heavily by the local police they seem to deal with any issues very quickly. As far as cleanliness of the room I give him a 10. A lot of businesses can slack a little bit in the winter when it comes to trash pickup. But I am biased due to my profession. All in all as far as I know it's the best hotel in the area within that price range. If you want a much nicer Hotel with more amenities you'll probably have to pay twice as much.

The paint was coming off the wall below the bathroom mirror. The smoke detector was hanging by the wires. Below the TV there was trash on the floor.

The location was hard to find. The room was disgustingly filthy! We should have known when we were 1 of the only 2 cars in the parking lot! We were afraid to have bags on the floor, refused to touch the tub/shower - absolutely the worst place we've ever stayed!

I saw 2 roaches and the room was not as described.

No television, no air conditioning, no drinking cup, owner woke me at 11:30 PM for a copy of my confirmation, poorly lit and hard to find, crazy homeless? Residents in adjoining room.

Its a nice place to stay while on vacation. I noticed that a couple of towels had a red stained (not sure if blood) and the another one had an orange stain. I didnt like that! Other than it was okay.

The lobby was a storage room, ice machine not working for starts. Initially put us in an occupied room. No sample soap products, no Kleenex, no cups. Floor was so dirty, you could see the dirt come off your feet in the shower. Silverfish in the bathroom. Air conditioner noisy. Barely worth $40/night. We overpaid at $50. No mention of ongoing construction online. Was not depicted accurately on website. Horrible.

I've stayed at motel 6 comfortably in the past, with no real problems, usually as a stop on a long road trip. For such a short stay I'm not looking for luxury accommodations. This was the filthiest room I've ever had at any hotel, ever. I had an allergic reaction to the room as well, most likely mold. Sneezing, water eyes the works. AC worked great, water pressure was good and water was hot. But absolutely filthy.

Room was not clean. Building smelled terrible and loud guests sitting on balcony.
