Grand Hôtel du Midi

Excelente atencion ,instalación muy bien cuidadas ,agradable ambiente,todo muy bien

The hotel, unfortunately, does not live up to the promise of a 4-star establishment. The exterior of the building somewhat conceals the aging state of the infrastructure: old and dull carpeting in the hallways and staircases, marks and scratches on the walls, very basic room amenities (e.g., an empty fridge), deteriorating bathroom seals, and a view of the garbage bins from the superior rooms on the east side. I have attached two photos to illustrate the issues described above. In summary, the Grand Hôtel du Midi may have once been a beautiful hotel, but it no longer meets the standards of a 4-star property. Thankfully, the breakfast staff is pleasant and welcoming, which slightly compensates for the rest. However, the value for money is undoubtedly overstated.

Frederick Scott, the hotel service, assisted us with a “tourist” problem and supported us with respect and sensitivity. He was directed to our needs. This man represents what a fine hotel does to accommodate a guest. He deserves a raise and a day of off with pay

Frederick at the hotel was respectful, and sensitive. We had a small tourist problem and with acumen, he ameliorated our situation with class and efficiency. He is the epitome of successful hotel that provides more than a bed. BTW, the hotel was clean, beautiful and provided a restful, quiet sleep. I hope Frederick, someday, is elevated to management. He's deserving.

Fabulous, swanky hotel in the heart of the city. Lovely decor in the room, charming features in the common areas of the hotel. Felt quite at home there.

Centrally located but quiet; rooms a bit small.
