The location was great and the staff is super nice... and the bar and food is really great as well. But the hotel is very noisy especially if you are on the bottom floor. We could hear the people above us day and night... not great for sleeping or sleeping in...

"Wonderful stay"

10.0

Booked a three night stay at the PlumpJack for theTahoe portion of our ten day road trip from Vegas to San Fransisco. It was an awesome experience! Very well equipped rooms inclusive of high end shampoos, body wash and conditioners. I liked the body wash so much I purchased some. Ceiling fans in rooms for good ventilation, minifridges, corkscrews, and flashlights. If you use a CPAP - make sure to bring an extension cord. The atmosphere is designed to be light, cheerful and playful. Staff are very engaging, cheerful and helpful. Rooms are clean - but carpets could be replaced and insulation could be improved - service trucks awakened us each morning and cleaning staff were happily performing their duties outside our room. A full hot breakfast is included and is wonderful. We were off season so they cooked to order for us. The eggs are fresh and the juice is freshly squeezed. Granola is delicious and can be purchased on site because it is in high demand. The food is of very high quality. Complimentary bicycles available for use. The pool and hot tub area were very well kept and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

"Disappointed"

4.0

This hotel is very run down. I have stayed at Plump Jack resorts before that were very nice, but this is not one of them. This feels like staying at a roadside motel. The room was smelly and dark, and the hot tubs didn't work. The service from the guy working the desk on the first day was not very good. Bill was very nice and helpful the second day. The breakfast and the free bikes were the only good thing about this hotel. I suggest taking the bikes down the trail that follows the Truckee River to Tahoe City. It is a really great ride.

"Cute hotel in need of a little TLC "

Nice place, great setting, room was clean and well kept, but the room could use a little update. Also the breakfast starts at 7:30 which is a bit late. Other than that our stay was great!

"Bad service and misleading advertising. Be aware "

2.0

Terrible service. They called us after check out to ask for money. They wanted our credit card number even after we gave them the card at check in. The manager Bill was rude and unapologetic. They also claim to be pet friendly but they don’t tell you it has additional costs. Don’t be full by the location. There are better places and cheaper
