Staybridge Suites - Columbus - Worthington, an IHG Hotel

Reservation for three adults, only two towels,asked for third,they were in the washer. They did finally bring one. Portable floor AC in bedroom of suite, loud, living room hot, asked for fan, never came, had to crawl across bed to get to window side past AC on floor at foot of bed. Staff said they'd look for another AC for living room but never arrived. Stayed two nights like this. Asked at time of booking for room away from highway but put right on highway. High speed racing going on I-270 all night both nights. Wish I had asked for reimbursement. Very uncomfortable stay.

The room is set up like an apartment which would come in handy for a family staying a weekend or longer. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had a good variety of options. The only downfall was that we had to ask for new sheets/blanket because there was a few stains on them and when you took a shower, the water puddled up outside the tub since the shower curtain did not close all the way. Other than that, the place is very clean, friendly, family AND pet friendly.

We liked the property but it was very noisy due to adjacent to the highway. Especially when those crazy drivers are zooming by at high speed at midnight! And they aren't regular cars - they were one of those cars with modified exhaust! I know thiis not the hotel's fault but I suggest those hotel owners to band together to request police to be present at night by the highway.

The breakfast girl was very kind, courteous and hard working. We appreciated her very much.

This place was wonderful for our stay. Exactly what I need for the longevity of our stay. Clean. Nice rooms and comfortable. The pool was clean. They offer grills to BBQ and the breakfast was mediocre but clubhouse was nice! The only thing if u get a room close to the stairs the doors slam soo loud it's like a gunshot going off. Literally. Other than that wonderful stay here

Room was very clean and spacious. Carpets in halls/elevator are worn and dated. Breakfast each morning would be 1/10 stars. Hot items not kept in stock/ gravy was soured, no coffee available, trash running over. It appeared breakfast needed more staff as one person was unable to keep up with the demand. If you are basing your stay on the convience of breakfast on site. Don’t.

Quick and easy

Great staff, so-so amenities. We were warmly greeted, but noted that the breakfast service was minimal (not in selection, but in quantity). Food was often sparse. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the air conditioner for the unit was not functional and we found a standing unit had been placed in the bedroom. Sort of loud and only really cooled the bedroom space. We were honestly surprised at how quiet everything was. That was a big plus!!

Someone was smoking in hallway, as son as I entered the room, it was smelling like food. Bathroom supplies were empty, not enough towels in the room. When I called the front desk they gave us hand soap and told us you can use that as a bath soap. Also bedroom had one giant air conditioner which we could not turn off or down.. see the picture
