"Love, love, love this Homewood Suites"

I can't say enough about Homewood Suites in Schaumburg, Il. The property is kept up and looks like it was an apartment complex before. This is a great thing. The suites are big and comfortable! Separate living room, kitchen and bathroom with lots of space. On drawback if you can't climb stairs, the buildings are separated and have 2 to 3 floors. Not ideal if you have lots of luggage or difficulties walking but the staff are happy to accommodate their guests which they did with a smile. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Kudos to the staff and management!

"Rude Front Desk"

We have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting relatives in the area as the rooms and breakfast are very nice. My only complaint for this stay was the front desk person who checked us out on the morning of July 3rd. He added an unauthorized pet charge of $125. When we asked for a receipt at checkout, he refused and advised it would be emailed. When I saw the $125 charge post to our credit card, I called the front desk to inquire and he kept gaslighting me and saying there was no charge. He was very rude and combative. He told me he would email the receipt in an hour or so. When I received the receipt, I saw that he had added an unauthorized pet charge of $125 but then reversed it. There are plenty of other hotels to stay in the area and if this is the kind of representation that Hilton accepts, we will reconsider staying at their hotel in the future.

"Cute little hotel"

We arrived earlier than expected and they were nice enough to let us use the pool and check us in early. The room was clean and the free breakfast in the morning was amazing! They even had carnitas, homemade chia pudding, and a bunch of other stuff on it. Pool is small but still good enough for the kids!
