Elegant European style classic hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Great place to stay if you’re visiting the Henry Ford Museum which is just down the street. Dining options are limited to bar but full menu And good food. Buffay breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable to stay. The food was pretty good at the restaurant.
Property was very musty smelling. You could tell the age by the smell. The shower and tub were very small. Cool history but not a comfortable stay. Walls were thin and you could hear everything.
Classy place. Quite formal and elegant. Nice appointments throughout. Parking convenient. Overall sorta sleepy and quiet while we were there. Pool closed at 7 pm each day. Convenient to Ford Museum/Greenfield Village/Ford Rouge Plant.
This hotel sits on a beautiful property with walking areas, gazeebo and patio. Quiet, awesome beds and the best location to downtown dearbotn or detroit.
I liked (very much) the style, character & magnificent lobby. It is truly a unique reception when you walk through the main entrance. The room was very adequate, stylish from a time gone by, perhaps more homey than a modern constructed facility. The mattress was awful. Entirely too soft. It was like laying on a soft marshmello making any movement a challenge.
The front desk was beyond exceptional. Also the lady who takes care of the pool was wonderful and polite. 10/10 service .
