Exe Rey Don Jaime Hotel

Hotel was pleasant enough. Rooms are in need of updating, especially the bathrooms where the seal around the bath was agreed and discolored. The cleanliness of the room could also do with being better with dust and hair on the floor around the floor lamp. Breakfast was good, a good variety of pastries, fruit, Cereal and drinks. Not a 4* in my opinion.

The hotel has a nice lobby with an upscale room. The only problem was not having indivual AC control (it is set by management) and my room stayed somewhat warm during my stay (it was a hot summer so a cooler room would have been much better). The location is OK for the City of Arts but far from the historical old section which is the jewel of Valencia. Next time I will chose a property in the old Town.

Quiet location away from hussle and bussle expensive for what it is

We got no sleep during our first two nights because the aircon wasn't working. We reported it twice and twice they said they would send somebody to check it but we heard nothing back. On the third day we were told that the government had forced them to limit the aircon to 27 degrees which is why it wasn't working. It would have been nice to have been told that originally, and warned about that before we had arrived or booked. In addition to this the pool was absolutely tiny with a severe lack of any character, facilities, or shade, and the pool bar was pretty much a shack next to it. The "solarium" was a piece of roof that was covered in thin fake grass with aircon duct outputs dotted here and there, and no sun loungers - people were just lying on the floor! We had to leave the hotel and go to Vincci Mercat which was cheaper, better located, nicer and had better service and conditions.

We had a great stay, very close to the science museum and lots of restaurants nearby. When we checked in we were greeted by Pepe who was on the front desk, he was lovely, very helpful and let us try out our Spanish on him.

In general an excellent stay. I have stayed there several times before.

We had a great stay. Grwat location, service, breakfast and price!! Everything was great. The one thing that needs to imrpove is the pool. It needs a little clean and bits pf it need to be stuck back onto the inside of the pool.

Really nice, modern and spacious rooms. However, the hotel should improve the sound separation of rooms - we were awakened several times throughout the night/early morning due to noise from conversations from neighbouring rooms or in the corridor.
