Sol Tenerife

Hotel was really good. Friendly staff, veggie friendly food was a plus, really nice outdoor/pool area. Noisy at night time but thats what you have to expect staying so central. Would probably stay again.

Great place to stay

The room is a bit dated but very good service in the hotel. Pool is warm outdoor. At Breakfast warm food is very basic.

When other reviews mention noise issues know it is legit the worse out of any place I ever stayed. I honestly didn’t even think it’s possible to be that loud. The rooms also are in bad overall condition. Pool has all chairs reserved before you even get out there. Too much chaos surrounding too. Beaches are only ok in my book. Overstated area of Tenerife. North is way nicer.

When you arrive reception will ask you whether you want a high or low floor. The answer is "A quiet room" unless you will be out all night or are deaf. If you complain about the noise thereafter you will have to endure the noisy room for a least two nights and will have talked to reception 3 times by then (hotel policy made clear at reception). You will probably also be told that "it's the noisiest part of the island" inferring it's your own fault. All staff know the hotel has a problem and if you can choose a low room in the tower nearest the pool (Tower A) on the side facing the pool which faces away from Lava and Cocos, the two noisiest nightclubs until 3am. Also you'll be away from the Veronicas bars. If you do this you'll have a nice holiday. If not you're likely to have a miserable one. The hotel itself was very nice except the noise, which is like saying the drains on Tenerife are nice except the smell.

Nice hotel, very clean and lovely pool area but a bit too close to Veronicas Nite clubs, banging music until 4 am, could do with a bit more sound proofing to help keep the noise out.

This was a great holiday staying in a great hotel. Staff were great meals were great couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely go back

Ideal location near on beach front. Breakfast excellant. Can hear night clubs at night which could be an issue if you have sleeping problems. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Plase in general pretty old, half broken beds, showers feels that no invested in. Place is very good, and staff, best party was barmens, always happy, joking, friendly, always see and understand your needs. We had all inclusive stay and food in general was ok, good sweets, but in vegetables couple times was clearly masked spoiled tomatos from previous days in dill and vinegar and ones same was done with salad. Only upper pool is heated, and strange lifeguards, one of them said to me only 1 word Yes even I was talking to him 3 times, another was really agressive even to small kid plaing with ball in pool, he could say friendly that not alloud and it could be solved, but was talking in really aggressive way, third was really friendly and happy all the time. In general good feeling after trip.
