PIRCE could be a bit less.

I’ve been a loyal Marriott guest for years and hold Titanium Elite status, but my experience at this property was far below the Marriott standard. The front desk lady was extremely rude during check-in — she rolled her eyes at me, ignored my Elite status, and made me feel completely unwelcome. Because of how upsetting the check-in experience was, I called the manager from my room. The manager apologized and promised that I would be upgraded to a suite the next day. However, when I arrived at what they said was my upgraded room, it turned out to be the exact same room type, just on a higher floor. I had to go back down to the desk multiple times before they finally upgraded me to the suite that was originally promised. To make matters worse, on Sunday morning we had to wait over 30 minutes for the elevator because two of them were broken. My husband even tried to take the stairs, but the fire escape was confusing and poorly marked — it took him nearly 15 minutes to find his way down, and it definitely did not seem up to code. Because of the rudeness and inconvenience we experienced, management promised to compensate us with bonus points — yet we are still waiting for those points to be credited to our account. When I was checking out, another guest actually mentioned how rude the same front desk lady had been to them as well, which makes it clear that this kind of behavior isn’t an isolated incident. The only saving grace of our entire stay was Ana, the server at the breakfast restaurant. She was absolutely incredible — kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Ana is the reason we decided to stay the rest of the week, and she truly represents the kind of hospitality Marriott should stand for.

Guests who intend to stay at this location need to verify if any events with music will occur. The celebration noise including bass and drums continues to echo through the building at 2:00 a.m. The hotel fails to provide proper soundproofing in its rooms while the continuous noise levels remain unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The front desk staff said there was nothing they could do - but acknowledged that there were guest complaints about the situation. The staff member stated that the music should stop at 2:00 a.m. but they lacked authority to enforce this rule. The staff members stated that wedding guests who attended the celebration should receive their right to celebrate because they paid for their rooms. The right to sleep should apply to all guests. I have to head for the airport at 6 am, and I certainly wouldn't have booked this property (and paid this rate), if I had known that the conditions were unacceptable. Unacceptable.
