Courtyard Flint by Marriott

No microwave or refrigerator in room. Had to move rooms on my 2nd day. Expedia charged me $138.45. courtyard Marriott charged me $186 the woman at counter said it was for "incidentals". If you think parking is FREE because it's listed as an amenity you have been fooled. $12 per day to park in the lot. They don't tell you until you check out.

The place was clean with a very friendly staff. However, when I walked in, I could smell mildew. I don't smell well due to a medical condition so when I smell something it is usually overwhelming already. The room was worse than the lobby. We chose this hotel because of the pool/hot tub. We called ahead the night before and asked if they were operational & were told it was. On arrival I asked where they were and the clerk told me they were not working, that he was a new employee and they weren't working when he started. He did offer that we could go to the Residence Inn on the other end of the street & use theirs. It was 23 degrees outside!! The point of a hot tub is to relieve aches & pains, not shock your system!!!! He truly felt bad but was powerless to help us. When I went to the elevator to go back down & talk with the clerk, there was a gentleman at the ice machine. He pushed the button and one lone ice cube came rushing out. When the doors opened I told him I would let the clerk know. When I told him, he rolled his eyes and sighed, saying under his breath, "really? what have I gotten myself into?". He then told me he would send someone up to look at it. With all this going on, minus the 9-10 charlie horses, we slept well. The pillows were perfect for a good night's sleep, and the blankets weren't too light or heavy. Bed comfort was okay, but that's a personal preference.

Terrible! At checkin the office had five employees there and couldnt find our reservation for several minutes. Once we got to our rooms(adjoining), we see that there is no refrigerator, no Microwave and the bed sheets didnt fit. The chair in the room was filthy as well as the desk. The bed was way to soft(squishy). The pool and hottub were both closed. The front desk manager(Megan) and staff all kept saying they were getting a fridge and microwave for us but only recieved them the last night of five nights. Very disappointed in the entire visit.

The room smelled terrible and the floor was wet. The luggage trolley was falling apart and the pool was closed. The batteries were held in the tv remote with tape. The staff did their best to accommodate us by giving us access to the pool at the hotel down the street and relocated us to another room. However after we were relocated, the bathroom had ants in it and there were also ants in the pool area at the sister hotel down the street. A disappointing stay for us.

We booked this for a local sporting event taking place. Prior to going, we ensured the pool and hot tub was in working condition and we could get a rollaway bed. The pool and hot tub were under maintenance when we arrived and was not in working order our 3 night stay. We were informed they had no rollaway beds on property despite me calling in advance to find out if they had them or we would have brought an air mattress. Their response to this was... oh, that guy was the one that was fired. We washed the kids uniforms before matches and the dryer burned them after only being on the lowest setting for 20 minutes. One pair of pants had holes and the other jerseys were clearly burned but not all the way through. It was reported to the desk and although they were nice, they shook their heads, said, "I'm sick of this "blank." And offered no compensation. Police showed up twice for unknown reasons. We heard one guest go up to the front desk after being given room keys and she informed them someone was already staying in that room. Staff was friendly and apologetic but could do nothing. It says Marriott which normally has a good reputation, but I would recommend not staying here. Look elsewhere!

Lady at desk in day time was useless I'm handicap in wheelchair and nighttime service desk woman Ashley was incredibly but day lady was no help and rude not sure if she hates white people or handicap people Ashley helped me over and above other woman was no help I have a really hard time just getting there let alone getting food or anything else but this woman was awful not sure about GM she wasn't much better but they do not help handicap p6at all unless your lucky enough to arrive when Ashley at desk Nts in my room 2nd time I stayed there for convenience and pool and hot tub down both times so take it how u want but thank you Ashley and I hope I never see other daytime woman in service industry

No phone in the room no # for the front desk only 2 lamps worked. Awful. No one at the counter for check- out.

No Bar. No Kitchen.
