OYO Hotel Georgia near Fairburn/Atlanta

A serious renovation needs to take place at this hotel.

As a 4th returning customer, I was disappointed in the condition of the room... stale smell to room, no Kleenex, leaking shower water from upstairs, and inadequate supply of towels.

Motel is close to the airport. Rooms we’re clean though furnishings were dated and the bed was extremely firm, much more so than other motels I’ve stayed at. Continental breakfast had hot coffee, a variety of cereals, orange drink and packaged pastries. Customer service was great. Exterior corridors to access rooms.

The room wa adequate for my stay, but very dated. It was clean and a decent value. I arrived late and left real early so I can’t comment on the breakfast.

Seemed like a nice family trying hard but this was less than even “no frills.” Keys didn’t work; no shower curtain; broken toilet roll holder; TV remote didn’t work; heat rattled loudly; thin bed covers...

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was pretty nice. The TV didn't have many channels and had poor picture quality. The local pizza place that delivers there was pretty good.

The hotel is a magnet for low-income guests and it is not in the safest area. Howbeit, there are stores galore and eateries to satisfy your desire. Wal-Mart and Big Lots are extremely close by. Big lots is in walking distance. I-Hop is also very close by. Tyler Perry's movie studio is across the street. You just have to be mindful of the general public and use caution in your dealings. Someone followed me as I was looking for my room, and this was very disturbing. There were construction workers with jack-hammers right outside my room the next morning! Thank goodness I was getting ready to leave.

The hotels bed was the most comfortable ever. But there was a prostitution element outside and i instantly regretted booking and was afraid tonget out of my car.

After check in found neither key worked. Was relocated to 2 different rooms before i got one to work. Luckily it was clean
