"Terrible service, terrible upkeep and totally overpriced."

Beautiful old building. Located in the centre of Manchester.

Paint peeling off the ceiling, filthy windows, horrible bathroom with rust stains around taps, rotten doors, peeled away grout …. Rude staff. Very average breakfast. Had to wait for 20mins to get our bags out of the luggage room. Totally overpriced. I don’t normally complain!

Lovely building, great staff.

Breakfast wasn't as good as it could have been. Dry hard pastries, ran out of cooked breakfast. Shower head was broken

"Very hot in the room, ideal location"

The location and ease of checking in was efficient.

Chose a room without windows due because we were only staying there to sleep. The room was very very hot without air con and there was a rickety old fan which created lots of noise, making it impossible to sleep.

Clean room in general, comfortable and tidy bathroom

The room was dark, the bed was too soft, and my room didn't have any windows or air conditioning, and I think my room was quite small.
