For the given price, everything was really great, I’ve had a comfortable bed, a fan if it’s hot, a nice linen, clean room and cups, very welcoming staff and all of the amenities like a kettle, a TV, and somewhat good WiFi. The location is also very good! Entrance is great, security staff sir is welcoming and polite.

The only thing that really should be implemented is door-shutting hinges which would soundproof the kicking of the doors anytime someone would get out of the room and slam the doors at 7am or around that time because, you wake up suddenly looking what’s going on, but, that’s also a “guest problem”, not just hotels fault. WiFi could be with password protection as the open WiFi doesn’t ask you for a room number or anything else and in the current situation with AI attacks (check Claude Mythos or stronger frontier models), anyone could steal bank passwords or even documents stored in the phones, but, WiFi was working good. Security of it-I’ve used my security system (I won’t disclose which one) to be safe online.

Fabulous location and very friendly, smiley staff. Room was clean tidy and it was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Room was absolutely boiling, the window only opened a tiny bit and the fan wasn't very good, that however isn't the hotels fault as they can't control the weather. No plug sockets next to the bed, my husband uses a cpap machine and had nowhere near the bed to plug it in, and lastly no coffee in the room only tea, I only drink coffee.

The outside made it look very grand

We arrived before check in and luckily one room was ready so we were all able to drop our bags off and freshen up. We were told to come back at check in time for our 2nd room. When we returned at check in time, the 2nd room wasn’t ready and still wasn’t ready 1.5 hrs after check in. The staff were nice but some did appear that they didn’t care we would now be late for our concert as we needed to get ready and there wasn’t enough room in the one room for all of us to get ready plus we didn’t feel comfortable all getting ready together. As room 2 was not ready 1.5 hrs after check in, we were offered a disabled room. The rooms were very outdated. In room one, only one electric socket worked. The points for the air con and heater would not turn off even when physically turned off from the electric point so a whirring noise could be heard all night. In room 2, there were no toilet paper and only 1 towel even though 2 adults were on the booking. The staff did rectify this right away though. There was plastic covering on the carpet in the lobby which made the internal part of the hotel look tacky
