Room was updated and clean.

Dark hallways. Outside looked like a boarded up hotel.

Super location and food was excellent! Staff was friendly and efficient

The work on refurbishment in the hotel on our floor and the below floor. and in the room next to us.

We had been checked into a room on a floor where they were renovating. There was a very strong and overpowering smell of paint and varnish. I contacted reception to request a change of room due to the smell. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged this straight away.

Close to Fisherman’s Wharf, Big Bus tours, cable cars, pier 29 restaurants,and our cruise port with Princess Ruby to Hawaiian islands plus enjoyed bar and Brick & Beam restaurant daily at location was enjoyable too.

Booking site I used did not mention the Hotel was undergoing renovations. I was not made aware until check-in. Our first morning there started with the sounds of drills and hammer directly on the other side of our wall. My request to move rooms or stall the construction were denied. That afternoon when returned to hotel our entire floor was filled with sanding dust. Horrible preparation and planning for proper ventilation led to our family covering our faces just to transit through our floor. Absolutely unacceptable for a Hyatt.

Stayed in refurbished twin queen room. Very nice indeed, superb shower, super comfy beds, nice and quiet. Fantastic breakfast, brilliant location.
