Hyatt Regency Irvine

The front desk staff and management opened the pool slides during the week and this was a HUGE hit and relief. The water slides was a large part of why I chose to stay at this location. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

Our stay at this Hyatt was a mix of great family-friendly features and some disappointing room issues. Pros 1. Fantastic facilities for kids, especially the pool and slides. 2.Quiet rooms and consistently helpful, friendly staff. Cons 1.Strong sulfur smell from the room’s water, making basic use unpleasant (an issue noted by other guests as well). 2.Several fixtures in the room—lamps, headboards, shower hardware—were loose or poorly maintained. 3.Self‑parking felt overpriced at $40, especially with valet only slightly higher.

Self-parking fees were a higher than usual.

The service and resolution provided by manager Trevor was both professional and exemplary. TV wasn’t working so contacted the front desk to inquire on it and he followed up multiple times throughout. My party felt special and well taken care of.

This hotel has everything you need at an amazing price! Great location, food and beverage, pool looks great even though I did not have a chance to enjoy it- great fitness room, allows pets, clean room and updated. Will definitely stay here again!!! Great staff as well!!

This is my family's go-to hotel every time we visit Orange County. Wonderful staffs, lots of amenities that meets our needs (pool, hot tub, refillable water (carbonated option too), restaurant, gym, regency club, etc.). The hotel is kept clean and vibrant. We will keep coming back.
