"Fitness Center Along with the Hotel is Poorly Maintained"

Worn out hotel. Fitness center is neglected. Peloton bike needs maintenance. Only comment I got was we don't maintain the Peloton bike. The hotel needs to schedule regular maintenance for the equipment in the fitness center. It is clear it is not a priority to this management. Years ago this was a great hotel. It is now old and management is clearly not interested in maintaining the integrity of the hotel.

The first Valet I encountered was great. The first Front Desk clerk I encountered was great. The Bartender/Waiter at Liberties Easter night was great. These employees were working Easter Sunday night and they all were polite, kind, informative and made me feel like they wanted to be there to do their job(s). BIG brownie points, in my opinion for all 3 of them! I really enjoyed my stay except for a few minor problems I listed below.

Housekeeping They completely blew off cleaning my room. I left at 10:15AM and when I returned at 3:15PM it had not been cleaned. The Front Desk clerk was a bit rude and mentioned twice that he had just come on duty at 3:00 and had no idea why my room wasn't cleaned. He assured me they would get to it. Two hours later( well after 5PM) when I complained to him again he reminded me again that he had just come on at 3:00 and he didn't know anything. I tried calling Housekeeping myself but, it just rang and rang. I left for a bit and when I returned they had come into my room, removed the dirty dishes, put out new towels and that was about it. The bed was not made and there was black colored pieces of something...not sure what left on the bathroom floor. The last thing was the creepy hole in the ceiling of my room. It was like the ceiling popcorn had started to peel and then a hole was there. It really creeped me out. Honestly, my stay was very good except for these issues.

The hotel is very old and run down. The bathroom is dirty. The rooms definitely need a remodel. The main hotel isn’t bad but still dirty.
