Gold Star Inn & Suites

We stayed here for 4 days. Very comfortable nice location everything we wanted to see was 10 minutes away. The place is a bit old but it was fine for the cost. Would i stay here again yes

No breakfast or even coffee and tea is not good

The property is run down and in a serous need of updating.

This is a property in need of restoration. We went to a concert at Mohegan Sun and wanted budget friendly accommodation. Price was great and accommodations were adequate though sorely in need of updating. Everything was old and worn but the room was clean.

Whirlpool tub was very dirty so we stayed clear of using it.

The property was clean just old fashioned but it’s great that the bedroom is separate from the living room

Where do I start? Falling apart. Got to the front “desk” and the clerk was behind bullet proof glass. The smell of “curry?” Coming from the other side of the slit was nauseating. The clerk had no personality at all. Main entrance was very dirty. Sidewalk has seen better days 10 years ago. There are temporary LP gas bottles lining the sidewalk, the meter for city gas was removed it appears. Got to our room. It was bad. Very very bad. The room had been smoked in, nonsmoking room. Everything was falling apart. The sheets were dirty. The bathroom was what you would expect from a rent by the hour hotel. The bad just kept getting worse. I actually made a TIKTOK of how bad it was. If you search Grimace1969 it is my first pinned on TikTok. For the love of god, please don’t go here. I had the creepy crawlys all night. Felt like things were crawling on me.

Room was spacious but outdated. Stains on furniture. Walls need repainting. Hallways have a odd smell. Jet tub is so loud you cant use. No staff seen beside check in. Location is coneventient if wanting to visit both casinos and mystic. Price is high for the overall quality of the hotel. Needs a face lift and clean.

The place was “clean enough” and the bed was very comfortable. Pleasant scent throughout the building. However, there are zero room amenities-no coffee pot (nor any cofffe in the lobby or within walking distance) no hairdryer (although one was available at the desk) etc. But the price was less than other places.
