Death trap!! Smoke detectors in rooms aren’t hardwired. You can see the ceiling wiring in the bathroom as lights are open. No staff to clean rooms for 3 days. No fitted sheets on the beds they are top sheets tucked in. The 4 250 gallon propane tanks are 6 feet from the building and hooked up with rusty fittings, no sprinklers. Light on wall in basement laundry room doesn’t work you have to hunt for the lamp that’s 3 feet from the door. Adjoining doors have old locks that can be easily picked. I never have ever reviewed a hotel, but this place needs to be shut down!!!

The room was nice and clean and we were given access before check-in time. A big negative was no coffee anywhere for guests.

The front desk called me twice the morning of my check-in to see what time I was arriving. The front desk also called me the morning of my check-out to make sure we were leaving on time, which was excessive. Also, the rooms did not have irons or ironing boards. When I contacted the front desk for them, they refused to bring it to my room and said I had to come down and collect it.

Our room was extremely spacious and I was grateful for the room balcony.

It was clean , staff was nice , parking was easy price was good for that particular hotel , Although my Ac wasn’t really working properly so room got humid at times, microwave was really really old and room needs upgrading and not patched up work. But overall it was comfortable.

The rule size was good but everything was outdated or improperly repaired. The door to the room was hard to open and close. Numerous broken tiles on the floor. The rug was outdated and very old. Overall it just did not seem like maintenance is properly kept up. Handicap spots out in front of the building do not have a ramp immediately in front of them. You have to go down the line of parking spots until about the 6th or 7th spot until there is somewhat of a rant and even then the ramp has a big lip on the front of it

We were very happy with the room that was available.

My Husband and I have stayed at the Gold Star Inn since back in the days when it was the Econolodge. The Suites have 2 huge rooms, a very comfortable bed, a full size refrigerator (we bring lots of frozen food, so, the fridge is very important), and the price is right!
