Gold Star Inn & Suites

I would have done zero stars if it were an option. Dirty, holes in walls, smelly, and my mom even contracted COVID while there... not sure if that is related to the facility... location is awful. Actually left one day early loosing 100$ but just felt like it was a better call than one more night there!

The check-in was good. We had a hard time getting the room key to work. I think its time to upgrade the locks. The AC unit was falling off the wall, the shower curtain was moldy, that's disgusting! The place needs an upgrade. I understand if you don't want to do breakfast but maybe just some coffee would be nice. Won't be stayong again.

It was good for the price.

While it looks like they are trying to make some changes, the smell of stale cigarettes was so strong. Our room was large but the bathroom had dirty floors, bedspread was spotted with bleach and the room didn't have a coffee maker.

I want my $$ back. Mold in ac unit. Patched walls. OLD tv. One remote. Smells like mold. Musty. No coffee maker kitchen no pots pans glasses. Microwave broken handle. This property should have never been on this site. Always had good experience before on this site. VERY Disappointed. Felt like I would get bed bugs. Would have left but paid already. And left first thing in morning

Smells very heavily of cigarettes throughout (even in nonsmoking rooms). Spacious room but AC is only in bedroom, bathroom was cramped, and bed was uncomfortable.

Accomodating

Location was great, close to everything we needed. Hotel conditions were not so great, place needs lots of small repairs, bedroom lights were not working, and room did not offer basics such as an iron and hair conditioner. Service was not the best as attendant had difficulty understanding clients.

This was one of the worst maintained facilities we have stayed at. Door latch was broken, and desk, walls and doors were pretty beat up. The room was a good size and bed and couch were comfortable, but stove top did not look safe and old minifridge was still there even though new one was in the room.

The rooms were big and hotel was quiet, the furniture was also really comfortable.
