The surroundings. It was close to everything AND check out was at noon!

The TV was not working properly.

Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. Front desk people were kind and helpful.

Nothing

We ordered dinner and sat in the lounge with our family to eat dinner.

Not enough chairs in pool area and no towels. Somewhat pricey compared to others we previously stayed at.

Ease of location.

Despite receiving an email from Fairfield to check in the day prior, we arrived and were informed they did not have our reservation and they were completely booked. I made reservations in October and again received an email to check in the day prior to our reservation date. The general manager was extremely unprofessional over the phone and told us we expected perfection in an imperfect world. I was told my check in email was actually a promotional email, then they later backtracked and said well technology and systems aren’t perfect so you shouldn’t expect it to be. I spent 2 hrs trying to figure out where I would be staying for the weekend in a location that was all surrounding hotels were booked up for the weekend due to multiple sporting events in the area. While the front desk workers were trying to be kind the general manager was extremely unprofessional. This was very frustrating and time consuming and very stressful. We were belittled by the general manager due to the fact we used booking.com and not through their site. During this 2 hrs and as we were trying to scramble to find somewhere to stay for the weekend, the Marriott app allowed us to book a room for this same hotel, but we were told even though it let us do that we weren’t guaranteed space because they were booked ( but yet I was told I needed to use their site and not a third party booking site because I couldn’t trust third party booking sites to do things correctly).
