Clean room and nice variety for breakfast

First we got an in cleaned room. The hallways and room were barely cool. Air conditioning was not great. The room we got had a dirty plastic cover over the outside of the window. Making it impossible to see out the window. The mattress we slept on was so worn out. Lumps and a canal in the middle. Not to mention it felt like we were slanted with our heads being much higher than our legs. Needless to say we opted to leave early

We always like Fairfield Inns. The morning staff was lovely, especially the woman helping with the breakfast. The pool is always a highlight for my so.

Our room smelled bad. Like, legitimately bad. But we were too tired to say anything. The check in clerk was very snarky and I didn’t want to bother her or I might have said something - I shouldn’t feel like I’m a burden but she was very cranky. She commiserated with us when I think she should have been more professional. Again, we were too tired after driving 10+ hours to say anything.

The location was excellent. It was near many dinning and shopping options. The room had an odor and most likely needed to have the filter changed in the room. Did like having a microwave and fridge in the room. The rooms should be checked for Co2.
