Great vibe at this Hotel Fernando and Anna were great hosts as usual, their service is phenomenal. Also Caitlyn and Victoria at the front desk were very courteous and provided excellent service.

"Enjoyed our Unwell Spring Break!"

SLS did a wonderful job accommodating the Unwell event and all that came with it. Also any time my friends and I called the front desk for anything we needed, they were on top of it and at the door within minutes! Very pleased and would recommend/return!

"Staff is phenomenal"

So clean and well kept , staff goes above and beyond. Any need or request gets fulfilled, usually any place with auto tip don’t do as well, SLS is the opposite! With such a busy weekend for the hotel we not once didn’t feel like superstars. Thank you guys!

"Good Location but not great service"

Good location and easy access to the beach. Easy to walk to places and the convention center if you are there for work. I wouldn't try to eat at the outside restaurant. The service was extremely slow. I had one co worker who waited 20 minutes and no one came to take his order.

"Romantic getaway"

We had a wonderful experience The staff were amazing. Great food, great vibe. Will definitely plan a return trip. The only wish was that we had more time. The location provided easy access to shopping, the beach and wonderful dinning and drinking.

"Horrible Experience – Regret Not Leaving on Day 1"

I recently stayed at the SLS Hotel in Miami from 3/15 – 3/18, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Miami. The hotel is extremely rundown and in desperate need of upgrades. Only one elevator was working, and it stopped at every single floor, making getting around frustrating and time-consuming. At the beach and pool, we were told there were no towels left, forcing us to sit on dirty beach chairs—completely unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as luxury. To make matters worse, when we went to the beach later in the afternoon, the attendant was incredibly rude and refused to give us chairs, saying the beach was closing in an hour and giving us attitude instead of just letting us sit for a short time. This nearly ruined my best friend’s birthday trip, as we had planned a relaxing day by the water. The rooms were small, poorly lit, and lacked any sense of comfort. Housekeeping was also below standard—I had to request mini face cloths twice and still never received them. Throughout our stay, we saw many other guests complaining about similar issues, and several were even checking out early. In hindsight, I regret not leaving on the first day and switching hotels. We brought our concerns to the front desk, and while they did waive the resort fees (which were minimal) and offered late checkout, it didn’t make up for the overall poor experience. To make matters worse, on our last day, we went to breakfast and returned to change before checking out, only to find that our room key had been deactivated, locking us out with all of our belongings still inside. A housekeeper initially refused to open the door for us, wasting even more time before finally agreeing to help. By then, we were rushing and nearly missed our flight, leaving no time to bring up the issue at checkout. I’ve been to Miami multiple times, and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never return and would much rather stay at the Marriott, where at least the basics of hospitality and service are met. If you’re considering the SLS, save your money and book elsewhere.
