Quality Inn Glasgow

DO NOT STAY HERE! While the room was adequate, my half nigh stay was costly. First, I called the reservation line and was told the room would be $62.00 plus tax. I arrived at the hotel at 2:00am and checked in. We slept in the room about 4 hours, got dressed for a funeral and left. A few days later I saw the room charge on my card for $89.89, considerably more than it should have been. I also saw a second charge of $50. I called the hotel several times to see what the charge as for. Finally, a clerk told me it was for room damages, we had ruined sheets and towels. IF this were true, why didn't the hotel manager contact us before making a unauthorized charge on my card. This hotel owner/operator has wrongfully abused visa merchant privileges.

It was all good until

Yes I made the reservation but it was for another day I don't know how I got messed up for that day the room was supposed to cost me $158 end up cost me $258 I don't know why plus another $100 and then another $100 why is that I don't mind paying the 158 or whatever it was for the for the room but not another $300 more that's why I'm pissed I've been there before I'm just putting it down there I've been there before so I ain't worried about it

The staff was nice

The room was super humid and smelled awful of mildew. The towel rack fell off the wall. There was rust on the walls. The bedding had something all over it. My feet were black when I walked on the floor

Close to the funeral home, price

The pool was empty, there was mold in the sink, the floors were not vacuumed very well

Overall the property was very clean and also very affordable. Even though I wasn't planning on swimming, the pool was not in good condition at all. Also, I had a really difficult time getting my door to actually shut as well. I likely wouldn't stay in this hotel again, given the other choices around it.

The guy at the front was nice.

It was DISGUSTINGLY dirty. We had to change rooms bc the first door wouldn’t open. The room and beds were updated but the bathroom wasn’t and there were so MANY dead bugs. The safe was just loose in the floor and not even attached and there was a man’s clipper thing from a haircut kit in the floor. So gross.

Nothing

We did not stay there. The first room they booked us in, the floor was soaking wet due to humidity and bathroom was filthy. Showed us 3 more rooms and they were just as bad and smelled like smoke.

Toilet didn’t drain properly. Room was filthy and smelled moldy. Check-in very slow. Interior and exterior not maintained. Grass too long. General condition very poor. Pool not operational.
