"The best thing is the pool"

Definitely not a five star hotel. The rooms are extremely dated, power points are loose, shower pressure is low, the aircon in our room was either extremely cold or broken; and there’s a cigarette smell that exists constantly- even in non-smoking rooms. Room service was complacent- we constantly had to ask for towels, toilet paper and water bottles. The positives- the pool is great and the location is awesome if you’d like to explore Hamra. We eventually moved to a different hotel down the road.

People at the reception (except samah and May) were rude A girl was literally making faces when I complained about lateness in room delivery Room was dirty and the room services manager answer was it’s ok People in next door room were smoking and our room smelled like smoke all the time and the hotel answer was we can’t do anything about it

"Nice pool & resort area - I would say 4 star room"

Was disappointed to encounter issues with the electrical power points - called out maintainence man twice... and the fridge is still not cooling... I would rate the room 4 star, they are very clean, nice and well equipped, but I wouldn’t say luxe. We didn’t even have bath robes in our room? Pleased to see we had an iron and spacious cupboard space. As for the entire hotel, the resort area is beautiful, music is great, restaurant looked lovely and overall positive...

"This hotel is a big disappointment "

Pictures of the hotel are nice and location seems perfect but be careful. This not a 5 stars hotel not sure it’s even 3... I had not hot water to take shower for 4 days. Made several complains about it and they did nothing :( if you don’t want your hotel to diminish you stay in Beirut don’t go to the Riviera. Simon Dion

I poked the stay on expedia and when I got to the hotel they couldn’t find my reservation in the system. I had to make internationals call to expedia from Lebanon to be the mediator between the hotel and expedia. Me and my wife had to wait about 2 hours to check in and once we got to the room it was not clean and prepared so we left and told the front desk we will never stay at this hotel again.
