"Peaceful escape"

Beautiful grounds, peaceful place. Great amenities and location. Staff were helpful and friendly. The Mill Room was delicious- make sure to ask for Erick as your server- you will be in for a real treat, he was fantastic. Spa treatments were wonderful. Look forward to coming back soon.

"Nice place for a family gathering"

I booked last minute and had to pay a very high price for my room. I extended for a second night and housekeeping must not have gotten the word that I stayed over. Bed not made, towels on the floor, coffee cups around. It's a gorgeous place in a gorgeous setting and was a nice place for our family to gather. They offer free coffee in the morning but it's tucked away in a corner on the 2nd floor and not easy to find. A resort should have coffee in the lobby. I'll go again but will be sure to book my room earlier.

"Quiet Hideaway"

Nice and quiet place good for a relaxing hideaway from life/kids. Plenty of amenities to enjoy if desired or can be enjoyed quietly on the porch, swings by the water, or walking the grounds.

"Mountain Relaxation"

Such a relaxing and welcoming environment. From the moment you arrive and the lovely gentleman outside is welcoming and super helpful to the checkin process where the smells and ambiance level set you into a relaxing state you know your in for a treat. The room and quality of the space truly help you relax.

"Noisy"

Bed was comfortable.

The room was not what I thought I bought. Patio not balcony. Where my room was located 704 Lakehouse was next to the housekeepers entry and exit. Non-stop slamming of the door from 5:30-6:30am. I had a nine hour drive that day another nine hour drive that morning. Didn’t appreciate being woken up at 5:30 am by slamming doors.

"Great stay at Boars Head Resort"

Our stay was just one night. Front desk, concierge and hotel staff were super accommodating. Wish we had time to explore the beautiful grounds, but will definitely return for a longer stay to do so!

"Spring visit to Charlottesville"

Beautiful resort with nice facilities enjoyed the sports complex, hiking behind the facility near the golf course in the woods and the proximity to Charlottesville. very nice brunch and bar.
