Stanford Hotel

I have booked 2 room under Urban room bcos we come to Hongkong to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary for 5nights ,with my sister in law so my daughter wrote in to informed them ,and I greatly appreciated that they ungraded to Skyline room ,hotel location very good clean rooms, chambermaid very courteous, only thing is no drinking water in the room a bit of inconvenience also 5 days breakfast not change menu at all,if this is improved, they will be more coming back customers, but I will come back next time maybe not having the breakfast, anyway thanks to the management for the upgraded.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, primarily because of its convenient location in Mongkok. It’s about a 5–10 minute walk to the Ladies' Market and is situated slightly away from the busy main roads, offering a quieter and more relaxing environment. The Mongkok MTR station is also within walking distance, around 8–10 minutes away. One of the highlights of staying here is the abundance of eateries, restaurants and street food options in the surrounding area. From local delicacies to international cuisine, there's no shortage of dining choices just steps away from the hotel, making it perfect for food lovers. The hotel lobby is relatively small, but the check-in process was quick and efficient. The front desk staff were polite and attentive, making the arrival experience pleasant. We booked a room with two single beds which was adequately sized for two people and two pieces of luggage. The room amenities were quite comprehensive, including a TV, USB charging ports, tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, kettle, a small round table with two chairs, a hairdryer, body and face towels, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste and a bathtub. Overall, the setup was well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Wi-Fi is available, but the connection speed was a bit slow and could benefit from improvement. We also opted for a room with breakfast included. However, the breakfast selection was very limited and repetitive with the same menu offered every day. It was evident that the restaurant did not invest much effort into updating or diversifying the food options, which was disappointing. The hotel used to provide a complimentary shuttle bus to Kowloon MTR Station which was especially convenient for guests connecting to the Airport Express. Unfortunately, this service was discontinued during the pandemic and has not been resumed. I would strongly recommend the hotel consider reinstating this service for the convenience of future guests. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for travelers who prefer staying in Mongkok but still want a peaceful and quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads while enjoying easy access to a vibrant variety of food options nearby.

This mid-range hotel is located in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, which is located on the Kowloon side of the harbor. The staff were accommodating, and the room, although small, was comfortable. The room had an electric kettle, fridge, safe and a nice bathroom. My room was on a lower floor, and the view was out to local apartments, which were not the best, however there was absolutely no street noise. This was remarkable given that the hotel is on Knutsford terrace, a short street lined with restaurants and bars... definitely a scene for those younger than I. The location was great. A short walk down to Nathan road, with little markets in the area. I walked to the harbor, the amazing Hong Kong Art Center, which had an amazing Cezanne and Renoir exhibit, the Peninsula hotel and the harbor. I felt safe walking at night and ventured all the way up to the night and Ladies markets, walking back with no incidents. Hong Kong feels like a very safe city and I enjoyed the area surrounding the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again if I wanted to be on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive to my needs. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and easy to access. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We’ve been coming to Stanford Hotel for many years as we normally travel to HongKong 3X a year during the summer months and Stanford has always felt like home because of the friendly staff that serve us. Our go to person is mostly Kevin Chan. He is the assistant manager & he meticulously makes sure all our needs are met even before our stay, we correspond by email and he always attends to us promptly and makes sure all our personal requests are met. He’s become like a friend to us including their hotel staff who are all very warm & friendly to us all these years from hailing us taxis to scribbling English to Cantonese translations in paper for us to show to a restaurant or a shop. All the hotel staff are accommodating and helpful from the hotel manager to the concierge to the housekeeping. It’s always a treat for us to stay at Stanford and we love seeing everyone’s familiar faces every time we go back.. That’s why it’s always our hotel of choice whenever we are in Hongkong.

Excellent location. Close to markets, restaurant's galore and shopping. Trains and buses within minutes walking distance.

It was a great stay only it’d be nicer to offer guests more towels, pillows and hangers

The location of the hotel is good, the hotel room was clean, quiet and comfortable, staff are friendly and very helpful, especially Mr Simon at The front desk he is very knowledgeable and experienced. We will definitely revisiting Stanford soon
