Stanford Hotel

Stayed here last March 21-23, 2025. We are a family of 3. Travelled with an infant (3 mos. old baby) from the Philippines. We arrived at the Hotel around 12:30PM. They accepted our luggages to store in their storage, so we can eat our lunch. We returned around 1:00PM. As we know, the standard check-in was 3PM, but they let us checked-in into our room around 1:30 PM. I would like to commend Jack for this, since he assisted us as fast as he can so we can check-in a little earlier since my baby has become so fuzzy. Great Customer Service! As for the amenities, it was great! We had a comfortable stay. Toiletries are also available. Cleanliness is a topnotch! Not to mention its great location. We are near to so many Hongkong Attractions and near transportation systems too! This hotel is a 100/100. Will surely return to Hongkong and stay again here!

Even bedsheets change still find it dirty as every night feel itchy. Breakfast everyday the same no changes of dishes.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful in giving directions and guidance on how and where to go. The Mongkok MTR station is a short walk away from the hotel, and surrounding it are many eateries and shopping establishments. I was pleasantly upgraded to a bigger room and it was a comfortable and cosy room (although not much of a view as the hotel is nestled in a residental and school area). One can see people playing basketball below from my room above. Shower and air-conditioning works well, and the hot water was of a continuous flow, which is a blessing for those who like long hot baths after a long day outside!

Our 16th floor window didn’t seal properly so it was a bit noisy with Metro trains passing by every couple of minutes. Room was small but had everything we needed.

Simon is very friendly and explained everything to us when we checked in. He also help to talk to our HK bus operator as we face some issue. Free upgrade to our rooms. Will visit again when we come to HK. Recommended to everyone. Thank you very much. 😀

Simon Lo was the first point of contact during checkin. He was very kind and provided much advise to us. He has also addressed our feedbacks promptly. He showed us the map patiently. The room was very clean. The housekeeping staff very friendly and neat. Receptions staff very proactive. Overall the stay was fantastic. Thanks so much for making our stay a pleasant one. We will come again

We arrived at The Stanford early in the morning after making last minute travel changes to avoid bad weather. The Manager was very helpful by combining our additional night's stay with our original booking, setting up temporary WiFi access, bringing forward our check-in time by several hours, storing our luggage and advising of what to do and where to go in the meantime. The room was superb, spacious, comfortable and clean, it was a delight after our long journey. We met the manager in the lift the following morning, where he immediately recognised us and made sure everything was to our satisfaction and gave additional information regarding where to visit in Hong Kong. Another receptionist, Barry, was also very helpful during our stay, advising on the best way to extend our room booking before leaving late at night. He also gave invaluable information regarding travelling to the Airport using our Octopus card. A top rating for the staff then, but the reason for marking the overall rating down by one star was breakfast. The service clearly suffered from a lack of waiters, as food at the buffet was not regularly replenished and tables took a while to be cleared. This wouldn't stop us from staying at The Stanford again as overall it was a lovely hotel in a great location well served by public transport. It was also within easy walking distance of The Bird and Flower markets. Check it out!

Great hotel and location.

Great location with amazing views from our room. The staff were friendly and accommodating! We overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Stanford Hotel if visiting the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. Great value for money as well.
