The Maids Head Hotel

We've stayed several times now and love the decor - perfect mix between heritage and new. The Bentley tour is a big bonus and the drivers have always been lovely, and you learn loads about Norwich.

Our only gripe is the quality of the breakfast and so this time we came room only and ate at Olive's (which was amazing!) Simple things could be improved like freshly squeezed orange juice rather than concentrate, better quality sausages. It's the only thing that lets the hotel down.

Would prefer a walk in shower rather than one over the bath … but it was still a really good powerful shower

The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were both friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the breakfasts. The location was excellent.

Quiet, very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom, central location. Easy parking. Didn't try breakfast.

No issues at all.

Noisy inside and out. One room smelt and so had to move. My daughter’s room bathroom had dirty grout and a mouldy towel. Room access difficult with suitcases. Lot of money for what we got

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful, historic, just gorgeous.

Location to the city centre.

My shower was not clean on arrival. They said breakfast was between 8 and 10 but the buffet actually closes at 10 so realistically breakfast is until 9.30am! One couple arrived at 9.50 to be told the buffet would be closing soon- not what you expect if you’re told the timings as we were.
