Breakfast was a bit chaotic as the self service area did not allow for an orderly flow. The toast maker was in an awkward place and the whole area was too small for the number of guests and staff.

All the steps to the reception and the lift. It was not an accessible building.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in the Maids Head. Wir hatten das Glück ein Zimmer Upgrade zu bekommen und zwar in einem Suite die wunderschön war. Wir haben auch zu Abend im Restaurant gegessen.. auch sehr zu empfehlen. Parkplatz war auch super, schön groß!

The location of the property is ideal. It’s close to the city centre and a short walk to the beautiful Cathedral. There is also dedicated parking for guests.

We were very happy to be upgraded to a suite, which was lovely and spacious, the only negative was the street noise that came through even with the windows closed. I would recommend triple glazed windows as the room faces the side of a busy street.

Great location with parking,Breakfast was £18 but although a high price tag the products used were of a very high standard so excellent. Free upgrade to a suite room

Nothing not to like.

A fantastic building with plenty of history (oldest continuously operating hotel in the UK!) a bit of maze to get around but there’s plenty to keep you occupied while you’re finding your bearings! Despite the age of the building the room was in an excellent state of repair and there were plenty of comfy sofas in the common areas. The furnishings were comfortable and the decor was pleasant. Location was perfect, being just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Car parking was available for a reasonable rate of £10 for 24hrs (city centre rates) For a city centre stay, the price was quite reasonable as well. An all round excellent experience.
