Location was great, and very useful to have a car park. Bed was very comfy, with air con in the room - useful during a heatwave! Stayed in room 402, nice view of cathedral.

Bathroom did consistently overheat with very heavy firedoor - but we assumed this was protect the room from moisture. Didn’t have dinner at hotel, but breakfasts were ok. Ordering off menu was better than the buffet, but all worked - buffet was just the same as a budget hotel. Car park was £10 a day (24hr) and there were plenty of security cameras, but the car park was always very full - onetime we were relieved to get the very last space. Not sure what we would have done otherwise!
