It was so clean and smelled amazing and the bed was very comfortable .

Area was nice, but doors to gym and pool were tapped open the locks didnt work, pool was cold, and parts of wallpaper were pealing.

This was possibly the worst checkin in memory. I paid for a king room and was told when I checked in that there were no more king rooms available - as they scratched out our original room number on the key cards and wrote another in. So obviously someone else got our room. The elevator had something sticky all over the floor and rather than cleaning it a caution sign was placed in the floor. When we got to our room the key cards didn’t work. I went down to the desk and could not get a new card. I was escorted to my room which was opened with a master key fob and told someone would be by in the morning to fix it. I asked if someone needed to stay in the room, since we had no working key cards, and was told yes. Someone would need to stay in the room to get back in. We paid for breakfast and I’m not sure how that will happen - unless we go one at a time. Unacceptable.

Ii have never had such a terrible stay at any hotel in my life! Our room door ended up locking us out of our room. The key card worked however, the door was jammed from the inside. Upon notifying the front desk, the individuals who were on duty made us feel as if it was our fault and and they were inconvenienced. They indicated to us that they were going to have to call a maintenance person in to fix the door. They left us with the impression that was happening rather quickly and we waited outside of our door. After sitting in the hallway for about 2 hours, we decided to venture down to the front desk to get an update. The front desk people informed us that they could not get ahold of a maintenance person. We asked for the manager on duty and was told that there was no manager on duty. This was a bust Saturday night and we could not believe there was no maintenance person or a manager on site. Four hours into the debacle, the front desk people informed us that they had another room for us. Good but, all of our personal belongings including toiletries and medications were in our room. We stayed the night in our new room and at 6:45am, a cleaning person barged into the room and asked us what we were doing in the room. We said that we were moved into the room because we did not have access to our room. I went back to the front desk to speak to the new person who was working and she did not even know that we were moved to another room. We explained what happened and she had no idea what had happened. She was very helpful, told us that there was no information of a maintenance person being called and called one right away. We had an event at 9:00am and we would return to the hotel by 11:00am. Upon returning to the hotel, we were met by the front desk person who said to us that the door has been opened but, please do not close it as it will jam again. We went to our room and were shocked to see that our room with all of our personal belongs was propped wide open with nobody from the hotel watching or securing our room. We felt as violated as a traveler could feel! Not only could we not get into our room but, when the door was opened, the hotel staff left us vulnerable. Anybody could have went into the room, went through our personal belongings, taken anything, stole our medications or who knows what else. We felt extremely unsafe as nobody at the hotel took into account our privacy or safety. We felt violated as anyone could have been in our room while the hotel staff left the room door ajar. Safety should be a top priority of any hotel and the simple fact that nobody in the hotel knew that we were staying in another room and that they left our room wide open for anybody to go into is am unsafe, unprofessional and uncomfortable way to run a hotel. This hotel definitely does not care about you, your comfort or your safety! I will never stay there again and would definitely not recommend anybody staying at this hotel.

The thermostat battery was dead. I was told maintenence would be there at 9 and could take care of it then... I paid for a king size and got two doubles. Ive been a member of Marriott for years and have never had this type of service before.
