The walls are thin

Start to finish - not a great experience. Issues with the room, they said they were refunding the first night - never did. The room had a broken hair dryer and no body wash. The refrigerator had the previous guest’s food in it. Ordered a beer at the bar and the bottle was only 2/3 full…I looked at it funny and he asked “what? It’s not full enough for you?” Actually it struck me as odd it wasn’t full - I was more worried something was wrong with it. He then asked “do you want a full one?” Yes, that would be nice. He was holding a personal conversation through his AirPods the entire time. Then another guest asked him for a menu, he seemed annoyed, told the person in his ear “hold on” handed it to the guest and never acknowledged the guest. She seemed confused at the lack of hospitality - he walked over and she said she was going to order and he said “you better hurry they are closing” and then went back to his phone conversation. The gal finally left. There was a complete lack of hospitality. Very surprising for a Marriott property. I’ve always had great experiences but if you are going to Elkhart - skip this one

That's really hard to answer. The location was good.

We were really disappointed in the hotel. To say it didn't live up to our expectations would be a gross understatement! When we checked in to our first room, I attempted to close the shade and it fell off the window. Then I was told there were no other handicap rooms available. However, after further conversation, we were told there were no more handicap rooms with king size beds. Our second room, with twin queen size beds, had the window blind rolled up. This was because, again the shade control was broken. On Tuesday we talked to a woman who said she was the manager and would have it fixed. It never was. All week we set in a dark room whenever we were there during the day. In addition, the handicap tub/shower was very slippery - thank goodness we brought a non slip mat. It was also a tub that my wife had difficulty stepping over - I had to help her in and out to keep her from slipping and falling. A walk in shower that some rooms had would have worked much better. This was not a handicap friendly bathroom. Finally, the cleanliness of the place was not what we expect from a Sheraton Hotel. In the morning when I would go down for coffee, the trash can was overflowing with beer bottles and used coffee supplies. The serving tray had cream spills and no one was checking to see if anything needed to be wiped down and cleaned up. The outside appearance was also unkept with weeds and grass that needed to be mowed. One last thing; the hand cream was rancid. One can only guess how long it had been in the bathroom and had never been replaced.

Very basic hotel, but carpet was dirty, strange hooks all over the room for missing art, cheap headboards and SO noisy. So much less than I’d ever expect from a Sheraton property.

Good breakfast. Lots of teas to choose from.

Floor was squeaky and walls were paper thin.

In the area for a softball tournament. The hotel was great. The pillows could be a lot better. Other than that, our stay was great!
