PIER BLUE INN Old Saybrook - Essex

Very good location, older property but it was clean and safe.

Walk up Staircase to room was dark and needs lights added. Also Staircase needs to be swept.

Close to a lot of things Very nice people. Owner operated. This is our second stay here.

An older facility, past it's prime, but well maintained, and carefully cleaned. The things that mattered, bedding, pillows, and other things necessary for a good night's sleep were more than adequate.. Location, price, and staff were all all excellent. OK, the coffee wasn't that exciting but is it ever?

PIER BLUE INN Has become my go to for travel in the area. The walk down to the small beach is lovely. There are larger, less populated beaches in the area as well. It is tucked away and feels very cozy in the back lawn even though it is right off the road. There is a cafe across the street for breakfast and a farm stand next door.
