L'Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa

L’Auberge Del Mar is my favorite place to stay to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is in the perfect location. Everywhere is walkable if you should to decide to venture out from this beautiful resort. All of the staff are very friendly & professional. The rooms are well appointed and everything you need for your stay is right here. The sunsets, the meals, drinks & the live music are all good reasons to never leave!

The location is phenomenal, with a beautiful, somewhat understated, casual vibe. The rooms are clean, but very minimal and well-used for the price. The service was a disappointment. I submitted a detailed review back in December, but never received a follow-up, which is right in-line with my experience back in the fall, over 4 visits and multiple calls for a simple request.

We chose this hotel due to its location as we were in town to visit our son and his wife and we wanted to stay in Del Mar. We loved the hotel and enjoyed walking on the beach daily and enjoying the ocean views from the hotel dining room!

The Property is really Nice , and most of the staff also , not very mis friendly , dont recomend going with kids Food and beveragw prices a bit expensive for the actual quality you get !

This is the review of the spa though after our treatments we did use the cabana and the pool and the view of the Pacific Ocean is stunning from the pool! I have been to many local spas for facials and my recent facial at L' Auberge has to be one of the best! From check-in to check-out to staff was very friendly. Spa space was relaxing, beautiful with amenities such as fire pit in the waiting area, dry sauna and spacious women's locker area. Tea, water and fruit were available in the lounge area also. The best part of my spa experience however, was my treatment with Christee. Christee was amazing! After examining my skin I upgraded to a moisturizing treatment and it was so worth it. My 50 minute facial was so relaxing and left my skin glowing. Highly recommend Chrissie and the Spa at L’Auberge if you’re looking for that special spa experience in San Diego. As part of the experience we made it a day and rented a cabana poolside, can honestly say this was one of the best days ever!

beautiful, elegant hotel, but not stuffy. Well appointed, the lobby is welcoming with a sightline from lobby, dining room, pool area and the ocean. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area and ocean view. Staff were superb! Friendly, accommodating and resourceful. The location is central to shops and restaurants and 20-30 minute drive to different sight seeing stops. I would recommend this to family and friends if and when they are considering visiting Del Mar/San Diego.

Great location and very nice hotel property. A bit on the pricier side, and not directly on the beach, but a close walk down the hill to get there is nice. Would be great if they switched from regular bikes to e-bikes given the price to stay there. There are less expensive hotels that provide that amenity.

What a wonderful time I had last week celebrating my birthday! The setting was stunning and the service was stellar. Standouts were Sean in Valet Services who learned the names of most of the people in my group of 16. He was always ready to lend a hand, whether it was transporting luggage, sharing local knowledge, or providing bottles of water. He definitely made our visit more personal: aided by Mark, who drove us to and from a dance party at Belly Up. We really had a blast. And housekeeping was absolutely flawless. It was almost like they could read my mind and knew the best time to service the room each and every one of my six days.

We stayed for a weekend (pleasure trip) in a King Room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean and spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming, and friendly. The breakfast was a great start to the day. We'd highly recommend it for couples seeking a central, wonderful stay."

The stay was absolutely wonderful!! The hotel was beautiful and loved the history of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay! The breakfast was amazing.
