"A Very Good mid-range hotel for Kyiv."

I have stayed Hotel Rus many times over the years I consider it my home away from home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a very good part of Kyiv for those wanting to walk to various sights.

"Old hotel, no charm. "

The room was really old with a stale smell. It’s Soviet times never ended in this hotel. Old carpets and furniture. Won’t stay again.

"Just don’t order breakfast and you’ll be fine "

Everything was great except the English breakfast in the room (not included) which was ludicrously expensive for a bit of bread with two eggs cooked in the wrong way (I asked for scrambled they had done fried). I had McMuffins delivered the next day! The piano in the main bar is in a terrible condition but the one outside the restaurant is playable

I love this place and I love staying there and I love the old Soviet style luxury, when I go to Kyiv that’s the only place I stay
