Amazing combination of price and comfort

Great stay, recommended

Overall good hotel with its perks, the pool and food serving right in the lobby. There were few downsides which probably was my personal experience (lack of luck rather). Almost every day I had to go back from the 7th floor to the reception to get my electronic key (card) re-charged as it would not open the door. In the morning I would find an envelope suggesting me to visit the reception to pay a city tourist tax. I could not understand why I could not pay at the check out. I suggested I'll pay this at the check-out which they happily agreed but I was still getting envelops. The other thing is guest supposes to put some fund deposit on your room number which can be used in the hotel afterwards. I mistakenly didn't and every waiter whole week of my stay reminded me that I have no deposit and can't put bill to the room. I didn't mind to pay right there but just got feed up with such reminders. Worst experience was that I was flying overnight from London and arrived to Kiev airport at 4.30am. I was at the hotel at 5.30 and learned that I could not check-in unless I pay full day. 50% pay only starts from 6.30am and I was asked to wait, which I refused. I did book flight+hotel package on expedia, but didn't receive any prior warning. Understand that hotel follows it strict condition leaving you no chance of guest tolerance. I contacted expedia support team, but there are no negotiations from them either, leaving me feeling frustrated and cheated.

Pleasently surprised (for Ukrainian standards). Clean hotel, good location - not the city center, but very close to the Gulliver mall and business centar. Decent breakfast, English speaking personell...The only bad thing is that rooms are facing eastwards and sun blinds can not stop sun rays - so be preparded to wake up early. Otherwise - can be recommended.

The hotel needs to be remodeled. The décor it from the 1970's. The carpeting needs to be replaced. I doubt it has ever been professionally cleaned nor that cleaning would help. My room was cramped and barely fit the king size bed I had. The bed was so low to the ground, I felt I was sleeping on the floor. The reception folks were courteous but not friendly. The doormen and other staff were grumpy and never even acknowledged you. When I called reception and room service, I had to tell them my room number and name. How do they not know who is calling? Upgrade your phone system. I had to pay a deposit, which is normal. However, every time I ordered room service, they asked me if I had paid the deposit! Annoying. I was asked at check in if I wanted the breakfast buffet added. After the first breakfast, I decided I did not want it anymore. They already charged my room for the whole four day stay and they said I had to call Expedia to get it canceled! I didn't order it with Expedia, I ordered from them directly! I felt this was unprofessional. The food was consistently bad. I ordered a club sandwich. The chicken rubbery, the lettuce was wilted, and the French fries were obviously frozen pre-cut and not fresh, and they were freezer burned. The breakfast was typical European...sandwich meats - not breakfast meat and eggs. The scrambled eggs they did have were not fresh, they were made from powdered eggs. Every night they only had one entrée available for dinner.

The hotel was in a convenient location for the Olympic Stadium. It wasclean, comfortable with reasonable facilities and very helpful staff.

Staff spoke good English, although I did have to chase them once to open the mini bar which was locked for some reason! I would go back there, relatively central position as well. Shopping mall nearby.
