Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

The location was perfect. Definitely worth to take a front view or ocean view rooms

I was expecting a private balcony/ terrace.

Location, ocean view, 2 bathrooms, bed was very comfortable

Could not check into room before 4:00, $45.00 parking fee, broken elevator coming from parking garage, dirty dishes in passageways, room smelled bad.

It was right on the beach. We woke up to see dolphins and harbor seals. Very clean, decorated for Christmas. Very friendly staff.

The location is great but not it you don’t have a car. However the beach and wildlife made up for it. Be prepared to either drive or pay for uber because you aren’t anywhere near the shops and hustle of Oxnard

location and amenities and food. front desk, doormen and pool attendants were excellent -- made us feel special. the young lady that checked us in (and out) was exceptional.

food service was terrible. the food was great but service took way too long. that said, Aga was great for our last dinner at the ox&ocean. sugar beats -- you need someone outside taking the orders--very difficult to hear staff inside the airstream.

Our reservation included a free breakfast. When we spoke to the person at the front desk, we asked about the breakfast buffet because the last time we visited, they had a buffet. The person said that they weren't doing the breakfast buffet any longer. She didn't explain that we could have breakfast at the Ox and Ocean, the restaurant at the hotel. We just assumed there was no free breakfast until our final day. So we asked if we could get credit for not having breakfast. They said no.

Given our experience with the breakfast situation and the fact that parking is $45 per day, it felt like they were trying to squeeze us for every dollar. I understand that it's a business but I felt they could have been more accommodating.
