It’s not the properties fault but there are no convenient stores in the area.

Excellent location. The hotel is exactly as advertised. Not luxurious but a clean, traditional style Japanese hotel. Good breakfast and staff were friendly and very helpful.

I love the home made breakfast. I love the dining area and the special room infront of the reception area. We played cards with my husband there for hours. It’s a relaxing area. I also love the tea and coffee area at the entrance. We could get drinks anytime as it was very cold and snowy during the time of our visit. The staff is also superb. The place is near to many restaurants, and free onsen.Really love the homie vibe here. Definitely going back.

It was a great place to stay. Traditional tatami floors. 10 minute walk to the ski slopes. We didn't use the shuttle bus at all. Easy walk to local restaurants and shopping. Staff were amazing and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating to our needs.

After staying at other traditional Japanese hotels I would rate this one average 3.5. Breakfast was good, the place was clean but some staff were not well informed on ski resort.
