Nozawa Dream Central

Was surprisingly a perfect location right near all the restaurants and shops and onsens.

The breakfast a little light on with basic options on offer. The onsen bath was tiny and only two showers plus small ‘bath’ tub.

Location was excellent, right in the heart of town and for the free ski shuttle bus.

The walls are thin and it can be noisy

Total bargain. Lovely, helpful staff.

Excellent hostel style accommodation with traditional Japanese beddings and procedures. Great location, steps from local Onsen, Main Street eateries and bus depot. Staff went above and beyond to help me send our ski gear back to Tokyo. Fantastic breakfasts!

A little drafty and thin walls, but it’s an old establishment with character so it’s to be expected.

The staff were very helpful and recommended restaurants and hot springs (onsen) near the guesthouse. The room is pleasant and clean, and the breakfast is complete and satisfying. I am grateful to the staff for their exceptional service, especially for preparing a vegan menu and dessert for me. I highly recommend this guesthouse and look forward to returning.

Very close to a nice local onsen. Also in front of a beautiful izakaya/yakitori place. Cosy breakfast area.

Squishy room with 3 futons. Friend apparently allergic to dust and just had heaps of sneezing bouts haha. Breakfast was ok, but compared to other accom in town - pales in comparison. International crew working there - positive or negative - depends on what you prefer.
